Energy Healing

Offerings to Deepen Your Experience

To help you fully personalize your experience, we’ve invited five gifted practitioners who will be offering à la carte sessions throughout the entire retreat day. These sessions—such as Reiki, medium/psychic readings, aura painting, card readings, and more—can be purchased separately and are available to support you in deepening, grounding, or gently navigating your inner process.

Two weeks prior to the retreat, all enrolled participants will receive an email with details and a link to sign up for any sessions they feel drawn to. Whether you're seeking clarity, energetic support, or simply a moment of one-on-one connection, these offerings are here to help you honor your path.

And if there are moments in the day where you feel called to step away from a group process, quiet spaces will be available for rest, reflection, or deeper inner work. This retreat is yours to move through intuitively—you’re invited to participate in the ways that feel most aligned.

Yoga Practice

Embody Presence Through Mindful Movement

Begin your journey with a Yin-style yoga session designed to ground you in the present moment. Through gentle, sustained postures and conscious breathwork, you’ll cultivate a deeper connection between body and mind. Yin yoga focuses on slow, intentional holds, allowing you to release stored tension in the fascia—where emotions, stress, and past experiences often reside. As you sink into stillness, you’ll tune into your inner world, creating space for clarity, balance, and a profound sense of presence.

Dyad Inquiry

Deepen Self-Reflection Through Partnered Inquiry

Engage in a powerful Dyad Meditation practice—an approach to self-inquiry that fosters deep listening and self-exploration. In this structured exchange, one partner poses a meaningful question while the other responds openly, with no interruptions, advice, or judgment. The act of being fully heard creates a rare and transformative space for insight and emotional clarity. As thoughts unfold in real time, you’ll move beyond mental chatter into a deeper connection with your inner truth..

Walking & Sitting Meditation

Cultivate Stillness and Awareness

Balance movement and stillness with alternating walking and sitting meditations. Walking meditation invites gentle, intentional steps, aligning breath with movement as you attune to the present moment. This rhythmic motion allows energy to flow and clears the mind. Sitting meditation offers space to observe your thoughts, cultivate inner stillness, and deepen your awareness. Together, these practices promote grounded presence, clarity, and mindful connection to the now.

Eating Meditation

Experience Mindful Nourishment

Eating is more than just sustenance—it’s an opportunity for deep presence and gratitude. Through the practice of eating meditation, you’ll slow down and engage all your senses, noticing the textures, flavors, and aromas of each bite. This mindful approach not only enhances digestion and satisfaction but also transforms nourishment into a sacred act of self-care. By fully experiencing your meal, you reconnect with your body's natural wisdom and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the present moment.

Intuitive Dance

Move Freely and Express Authentically

Step into the liberating practice of intuitive dance, where movement becomes a gateway to self-expression, emotional release, and joy. With no choreography or structured steps, you’ll be guided to tune into your body’s wisdom, release stored tension, and move freely with music. This practice encourages you to shed self-consciousness, embrace spontaneity, and experience the pure joy of embodied movement. Whether gentle or dynamic, every motion is an invitation to connect with your authentic self.

Breathwork Session

Activate Healing and Release Stored Emotions

Harness the transformative power of conscious breathing in a guided breathwork session. Through specific techniques, you’ll unlock deeper layers of emotional release, clarity, and energetic renewal. Breathwork has been known to reduce stress, expand awareness, and facilitate profound inner shifts. As you engage in this practice, you may experience a sense of lightness, mental clarity, and emotional breakthroughs, helping you reconnect with your highest self.

Sound Bowl Experience

Close the Day with Vibrational Alignment and Integration

Immerse yourself in the soothing resonance of sound bowls, allowing their harmonic frequencies to realign your energy and deepen relaxation. As sound vibrations flow through you, they work to release energetic blockages, calm the nervous system, and restore balance on a cellular level. This experience invites deep rest and integration, leaving you feeling centered, aligned, and at peace.

Integration Circles

Connect in Small Groups for Reflection and Insight

After each practice you will be invited into small-group Integration Circles, offering a sacred space for reflection, connection, and shared insight. These circles encourage open-hearted conversations, where you can process experiences, gain new perspectives, and solidify personal takeaways. As you share and listen, you’ll feel deeply seen, supported, and inspired to carry the retreat’s wisdom into everyday life.

Burke’s Journey: From Seeking Success to Embracing Inner Transformation Burke has lived a beautiful and notable life, both professionally and as a husband and father. His three children are all married, and he is a proud grandfather of three. Yet, despite these blessings, an inner yearning persisted—a sense that something essential was missing. Despite outward success, he grappled with a feeling of dissatisfaction in areas that truly mattered. This inner disquiet propelled him into a profound journey of personal development. For years, he immersed himself in reading books, listening to audios, attending seminars, and exploring transformative experiences, including: The Landmark Forum: Gaining insights into personal effectiveness and transformation. NLP and Hypnotherapy: Collaborating with practitioners to reframe limiting beliefs. Tony Robbins’ Unleash the Power Within (UPW): Engaging in dynamic strategies for personal empowerment. One-on-One Tony Robbins Coaching: Committing to a year-long mentorship for deeper growth. The Teachings of Dr. Wayne Dyer: Spending hundreds of hours studying his work on self-awareness, intention, and spiritual transformation. Each of these experiences provided Burke with powerful tools and perspectives that helped shape his journey. They offered valuable insights into human behavior, self-awareness, and transformation, all of which contributed to his personal growth and deeper understanding of himself. In 2023, a pivotal shift occurred when Burke began Energy Clearing Sessions with RoquesAnn Armstrong, the organizer of Going Deeper Within. These sessions sparked a profound realization: the answers he had been searching for were within. He embarked on dedicated introspection, which was deepened through shadow integration courses led by Sky Essence, drawing on the principles of Carl Jung's work. This inward journey, though very challenging, has been profoundly rewarding. Burke has unearthed a deep sense of peace, healing entrenched patterns; particularly an insatiable need for external validation. For years, he felt trapped in a "self-imposed prison," recognizing that his suffering wasn’t caused by anything other than the stories he himself had created about past experiences. Having an intellectual understanding of this did help to a degree, but it wasn't until he started doing the inner work that he felt a much deeper sense of inner peace. Now, as a facilitator for Going Deeper Within, Burke is honored to hold space for others who are ready to delve into their inner landscapes. He believes that authentic transformation arises from within and is passionate about supporting others on this journey toward self-awareness, healing, personal freedom, and Inner Peace... which is what Burke treasures the most.

From a young age, I’ve been captivated by the work of the self—exploring consciousness, self-awareness, and the path to authenticity. Drawn to thinkers like Eckhart Tolle, Lao Tzu, Alan Watts, and Yuval Noah Harari, I pursued my undergraduate studies in psychology and philosophy at Colorado Mesa University, seeking deeper insights into the mind, human nature, and the evolving narratives that shape our reality. Traveling the world has been a profound influence on my understanding of human connection—seeing firsthand how culture, experience, and self-expression shape the way we relate to one another. Each place I’ve visited has expanded my perspective, reinforcing my belief in the beauty of individual journeys and shared experiences. My journey has taken me through workshops with shamans, ongoing studies in Buddhism, and a continual search for unique perspectives to add to my toolbox of self-understanding. I believe that everyone comes to the table in their own way, and that diversity of experience is what makes the human journey so dynamic and rich. As a facilitator, my goal is to create a space where people can speak freely, explore their true selves, and step into who they truly want to be. Inspired by ancient wisdom, modern thought, and the ever-unfolding human story, I strive to foster deeper connection, awareness, and growth in every conversation.

Josee Wilcox

image0 (1).jpeg

My name is Josee Porter and my spiritual journey has been woven into my life for as long as I can remember. I’m currently a student at Weber State, working toward my degree in social work, and a proud mama to two beautiful dogs—my late Labrador, Sage, and my golden girl, Olive. Animals have always been a deep source of connection for me, but Sage changed my life in ways I never could have imagined. She taught me about unconditional love, kept me active in nature, and made sure I stayed connected to my spirit—whether it was through long hikes, quiet moments in the woods, or taking up most of my yoga mat during meditation. I grew up in a close-knit, religious family in Utah, and from a young age, I soaked up anything and everything spiritual. My curiosity led me down a path that looked a little different from my family’s, and I felt a strong pull toward alternative forms of spirituality—Buddhism, yoga, meditation, art, music, and self-exploration. At 16, I read The Anatomy of the Spirit by Caroline Myss, and for the first time, I learned about the chakras and how energy connects our physical and spiritual health. That book unlocked something in me, and from then on, I devoured anything I could find about healing, growth, and the deeper layers of life. In my late teens and twenties, I set out to explore—both the world and myself. I traveled, lived in Kaneohe, Oahu, and Asheville, North Carolina, and found that no matter where I went, yoga, nature, and my dogs were my constants. Life, of course, threw its share of challenges my way, but each experience deepened my compassion and understanding of others. One of the most profound moments of my life came in 2020 when my dad, who had been sick for most of my life, decided to stop dialysis and spend his last days at home with us. I had worked as a CNA, med tech, and hospice aide, and I loved that work—but nothing compared to caring for my own dad. He wouldn’t let anyone else help him; it had to be me. At the time, I was in one of the darkest places I’d ever been, completely disconnected from spirituality. But during those three weeks, I witnessed something that changed me forever. I watched my dad slip between this world and the next, describing a place so beautiful that I will never forget his words: “Girls, I wish you could see how beautiful it is here.” That moment cracked me open. After he passed, I couldn’t ignore the part of me that had been searching for something greater. Shortly after, life took another turn when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2021. Always active and outdoorsy, I suddenly found myself barely able to walk, needing to shift into a new way of living. This led me to Live Well Chiropractic, where I first encountered the power of holistic healing. When RoquesAnn joined the team, I was immediately drawn to her energy work. In May 2024, I experienced my first emotional clearing, and it felt like a homecoming—something I had been searching for my entire life. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in workshops, nutrition, yin yoga, and energy work, deepening my own healing journey. What I’ve truly found in this space is community—a group of seekers who are committed to growth, healing, and transformation together. It’s an honor to now step into the role of facilitator, holding space for you in your own journey. Whether you need silence, release, or shared reflection, I am here to walk alongside you. Healing comes in many forms—through tears, through joy, through simply being seen. Whatever you bring to this experience, know that you are welcome, and you are not alone. I look forward to sharing this journey with you.

My name is Megan Jensen, and I am blessed to be recently married to an incredible man who tenderly supports me on my ongoing journey toward healing and personal empowerment. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with RoquesAnn in clinic for the past two years, and as a result am now a nutrition coach and energy clearing practitioner myself. My passion for wellness and healing began during a period of illness when I struggled to find the support I needed. A relative of mine recommended I see RoquesAnn, and following her guidance, my health transformed in ways I never imagined. It has been a true honor to have her as a mentor, helping me to embrace my authentic self and allow more Grace into my life. I am deeply passionate about fostering connections with God, my loved ones, nature, and myself. My journey has led me through what feels like the “The dark night of the soul”. Through Gods grace I have learned and grown from trials of faith, the shedding of a victim mentality, and been able to step more fully into a space of pure compassion. I am thrilled to share this opportunity with you, whether you’re just beginning or continuing your own path of deeper connection within.
